We went to Thailand with Affordable World. On the second day in Thailand, we had a tour of a coconut farm, Damneon Saduak Floating Market, and Gem Factory included in our tour.

We booked this tour through Affordable World.
Our first day was all about Bangkok temples. Thailand is mostly (about 95%) Buddhist. We started the day with the included part of the tour. We went to the Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Trimitr) and the Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho). Then we went on the optional tour to see the Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha, which are located in the same complex. Also part of the optional tour, we took a motorboat ride on the Chao Phraya River and saw the riverside Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun). I love planning trips. When I create trips I map out all the sites my husband and I would visit that day, how we would get from one site to another, and approximately how long we would spend at each site. I never care if we do exactly what I planned; I just hate spending vacation time figuring out what we're going to do. So in this blog I will detail the apps I use to plan my vacations.
My mother-in-law is from New York and has many relatives still living there, so my husband has been to New York nearly every year since he was a child. It was less exciting than Silver Dollar City to him at this point. This left me with a very knowledgeable and less-than-enthusiastic tour guide for the big city.
I really wish I had a blog during my trip to Europe. I just wish I documented more throughout the entire trip, and a blog would have forced me to. The more days pass since that trip, the less I remember, so I will take the time to document as much as I can.
We decided to take a trip during our winter break of our senior year in college. We figured that this was the last time we would be able to take a long vacation, and I wanted to see as much as possible to make the price of the international flight more worth it. We had some money saved up from our summer internships (I worked 60 hours that summer to pay off as much of my loans as possible). I saw a Groupon for a 3 week trip from Go-Today, which included flights from JFK to Europe, flights between the 6 cities, and accommodation for 2 nights in each city. We ended up picking a different trip from Go-Today with only 5 cities, but 3 nights in each city, so about the same length. Honestly, 17 days of traveling was quite long. After a year and a half of wedding planning, we needed a nice getaway. When looking for honeymoon destinations, we were pretty locked into the Sandals chain because it included all inclusive scuba diving. We got our PADI Scuba Diving Certifications a few years ago at Table Rock Lake and never had a chance to scuba dive in the ocean. Sandals is more geared towards beginners, so we thought it would be the perfect place to wet our fins.
